Laughter and Gossip- Interview debrief I
I am currently in the process of cleaning and double checking the automated transcriptions of my interviews. This process has proven to be quite tiresome and draining of spirit.
Yet, It has been quite fun to listen the conversations and testimonies of elders in the community, their experiences in the new land they now call home and their many memories of their homeland.
I caught my self laughing at some answers and snarky remarks from the elders, while gasping and become intrigue with some other details they shared through their interviews. I can honestly say that what keeps this work alive are those stories .
this post rather short, I hope it can help as a reflective outlet for this process.
